Animefy's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements

We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We also let you know why we're collecting it and how it will be used.

You can sign up with your Google account so your Animefy account username will be prefilled with your name and your public profile picture.

You have the option to 'Add Documents' on your Animefy page, allowing you to connect Google Docs files set to share with a publicly accessible Google Docs URL. Additionally, you can add Notion databases/pages that you, the USER, have granted access to through the Animefy integration. This enables Animefy to access and parse document content, compiling word count data to track your writing progress. Please note that this information is used exclusively for writing activity tracking features within Animefy and is not shared externally.

By adding a Google Doc and using the writing tracking features, you retain full ownership and rights over your intellectual property. Animefy does not claim or assume any rights or ownership over the content of the documents added or the books you are writing. We access the content solely to provide the writing analytics features, with your consent through adding the publicly accessible link.

We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. What data we store, we'll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

We don't share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by Indian law.

We act in the capacity of a data controller and a data processor with regard to the personal data processed through Animefy and the services in terms of the applicable Indian data protection laws.

Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.

You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, and your intellectual property information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services.
